Elonkierto is a free exhibition park for rural natural resources found in Jokioinen, Tavastia Proper. It’s open to all and free of charge. In Elonkierto you can learn how humans and nature work together, and how rural cultures and novel approaches are applied to practice. In summertime cows, horses, sheep, goats, and chickens graze in the park. Elonkierto is a great tourist destination for a wide range of tastes.

THE ASSOCIATION WORKS AS SUPPORT AND PROTECTION OF THE PARK

Association “Friends of Elonkierto” takes care of the park with all its heart. The association is looking for a wide group of operators around the park, ways of joint development and shared responsibility. The goal is to create permanence and continuity for Elonkierto’s activities and to bring together both regional and national operators, who can help that activities are developed and maintained.

elonkierto tastes like summer

In Elonkierto you can come across many kinds of animals, most of which are native breeds. The animals arrive at the park between May and June and stay around mid-September.
