Elonkierto is an agricultural and natural resources research exhibition park and petting zoo that reflects the history and present of food production. The park is open every day from 6am to 11pm. Visiting Elonkierto is free of charge.
Step on the paths to learn about sustainable food production and the relationship between human, animal and environmental well-being. Along the 1-2 kilometer-long demonstration trails, you will meet Finnish indigenous domestic animals and find crops that have adapted to our climate and conditions.
In the Elonkierto barn known as “Makasiini” you will find an information center and a café (in the summertime). Toilets can be found in the main parking lot (Ojaistentie 44) and behind the Makasiini (Ojaistentie 80).
